Sunday night thoughts

HUGE!!! What an unbelievable day in the history of Journey Church! Today, as we continued our series ONE LIFE, we talked about One Life to Serve. As we took a look at John 13 we saw Jesus model some pretty radical thoughts on serving. The result was amazing! Here is the recap on the day:

• 23 people committed their lives to Christ!
• 16 agencies that serve our community were represented in the lobby.
• Over 500 people committed to serving in our community!(Those were actual commitments turned in)
• Our goal for 2007 is to have 50% of our attendance committed to serving in the community. There is no doubt by the amount of people lifting their hands in making a commitment that we have met that goal!

• Rose and Michelle did a great job in leading worship. It blows my mind how many talented volunteers we have at Journey.
• The Sooners won BIG!!!
