Stickiness

To wrap up some of my thoughts from the Innovate Conference last year we'll take a look at STICKINESS, the ability to make your message stick. In the ever growing world of technology it becomes increasingly harder to grab people's attention. It doesn't matter what business you are in, or what you do, you want your message to stick!

Here are a few things to think about:

  • Keep your message simple! What is the core of the message? Just get to the point.
  • Is it unexpected? More and more people are remembering the unexpected. If your message is boring and normal it won't have much stickiness.
  • Is it concrete? In other words do you stand by it's functionality and effectivness.
  • Is it story driven? Can you talk about the successes that have already happened or are you just selling hope?

Again, no matter what  you do those are good questions to ask. I really do appreciate the guys at Granger challenging me!
