Whirl Wind

Wow! Since last time I touched base with everyone it has been a whirl wind. Most importantly 26 people gave their lives to Christ this weekend at Journey! That is even on OU - Texas weekend! God did some amazing things in people's lives this weekend as we continued Tons of Practical Stuff.

There is so much that God has done in my life the past few days. It has been one of those times that I can't get to sleep because I am so excited about what God is doing and saying. I just got back from spending 8 hours with some of our staff hearing God about the rest of this year and most of 2008 on series ideas. I am pumped!

We have 2 weeks left ot T.O.P.S. and then we head into Labels. It is going to rock! God is going to do so much in people's lives over the next 8 weeks! You don't want to miss and you want to bring some friends. This Sunday will be an experience you will never forget, it will change your walk forever! What you are going to be part of this weekend will have an impact world wide!

in the next few days I fill you in on some of the things I have experienced over the weekend, but let me start here today. I got to spend 3 days with the most wonderful person in the world, my wife! We had such a great time just hanging out with each other and allowing God to fill us up! I know how hard it is as a parent to get away from your children, but just do it! Your kids are going to need alot more counseling when they grow up if you never leave them! They need to see that your marriage is THE priority of the family!

Guys, your wife needs to know that she is the priority! Gals, your husbands need to know they are the priority! Make a plan, take your date nights, and get out of town! Your marriage needs that commitment!

I'll fill you in more tomorrow on some of the things the Lord did for me over the weekend. By the way it was great that OU won, USC lost, etc. For those of you who don't live in a college town you might not get that, but trust me, winning always helps the momentum of everything!
