Let's start by giving a big "Yea God" for 70-degree, no-wind weather today. I washed my car; I pulled weeds; I played basketball with the boys; It was an incredible day!
- Another incredible aspect of the day was our worship experiences. I took the day off from speaking and JT gave the message. He did a great job! It was great hanging out and talking to everyone.
- The East Campus crew is crankin'! They are flat out getting it done for Grand Opening in a month! God has been so faithful in every aspect of starting this campus!
- I turned 38 Friday and have one thing to say, "I love my life!" I could not be happier about what God is doing in my life, my family, our church, and our community. I am so blessed in every area of my life and give honor to God for that fact.
- To celebrate my birthday Friday night we gave Christopher a surprise party here at the house. We had 70 people come over! It was crazy good! All of Christopher's friends did a great job keeping things a secret and he was truly surprised. The boy is officially 16!
- I'm watching Oprah's Big Give. I don't know if you have watched this show, but you need to. Couple of things to watch for: Watch how giving changes people's lives! The other thing I find interesting is that the world is more excited about giving than the church. I'll explain that later. Watch the show.
- I wrapped up the weekend at Charleston's with a little Pineapple Upside Down Cake. We went as a small group to celebrate the fact that we actually finished a DVD series. That's our new plan: Study - celebrate -eat! I think it will work.
I'm heading off to bed. Have a good day!
